Job description

Amazing opportunity to join a multi site service group at a time of transformation for a period of 12 months. Manage a small team of professional accountants. Reporting to the CFO this role is totally office based in Croydon.

Responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller Role:-

• To manage, motivate and develop a small dynamic team
• Review and improve processes and procedures to streamline the month end close
• Financial reporting and overseeing the transactional team
• Consolidations and inter company
• Cashflow management and control
• Liaising with the IT department on improving systems and procedures
• Working on rolling out the new accounts systems across the group and making sure the transition is seamless
• Year end statutory accounts, liaise with HMRC and resolve any queries
• VAT and corporate tax
• Working closely with the auditors

Requirements of the Financial Controller Role:-

• Proven track record in managing and mentoring a team
• Systems implementation experience in a multi site group
• ACCA/ACA or CIMA qualified
• Excellent communication skills
• Happy to work 5 days in the office
