Job description

We're seeking a dynamic Project Manager to be a pivotal force in the museum's ambitious 'Transforming IWM Duxford' project. The role will be crucial in transforming the site with new experiences, exhibitions, and facilities in the coming years, and aims to create a more welcoming environment, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the rich history of the site and the compelling stories of the men and women who lived and worked there. Underpinning Transforming IWM Duxford is the need to conserve, care and showcase IWM's vast collection and estate.

Responsibilities:

1. Work closely with the Head of Masterplan to provide project management for various projects within the masterplan programme.
2. Support the wider research, delivery, partnership, and stakeholder activities of the masterplan office.
3. Deliver the Large Object Moves programme, coordinating with Preservation, Conservation, Estates, and Exhibitions teams.
4. Support the long-term future of AirSpace as a dedicated and permanent exhibition on Cold War and Contemporary Conflict.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal Project Manager will have experience in delivering complex, multi-stranded activities with meticulous planning, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
