Are you looking for your next step in aircraft engineering? Do you want to have a positive impact on ensuring a safe future for the UK? At Serco, we have exciting opportunities for a Mechanical Supervisor (Merlin) to join us at the Royal Navy Air Station (RNAS) Culdrose, Helston.

We're proud to support the IMOS (Integrated Merlin Operational Support) and the AESAS (Aircraft Engineering Support and Aviation Support) at RNAS Culdrose, delivering activities ranging from the repair and maintenance of military aircraft to off-aircraft support services. Culdrose is one of the Navy's two principal air bases and one of the busiest military airfields in the UK.

Our Aircraft Engineers support Aircraft Engineering services at RNAS Culdrose across both AESAS and IMOS Contracts, supporting operational deliverables and interfaces in a highly regulated environment.

What you'll need:
  1. Minimum of 3 years working in an airworthiness environment, relevant experience for the Merlin aircraft
  2. Hold or be able to hold a Certificate of Competency for Supervisory level
  3. Good working knowledge of Merlin Aircraft Engineering and Aircraft Systems, Merlin Aircraft Servicing and Support Equipment, Lean Operating Procedures, Naval Air Publications, CIETP, Health and Safety, COSHH Regulations, Tool Control, and Quality Practices
  4. An understanding of Engineering and Asset Management Systems
  5. Completed or able to complete a Maintenance Human Factors Course
