Job description

Job Description

Title: Chief Financial Officer – Private Equity-Backed | £120m Revenue | Tech-Enabled Services.

Salary: £250,000 - £300,000 + Bonus + Equity

Location: London

Ref: IH9325

A well-established, Private Equity-backed tech-enabled services business is seeking a commercially minded Chief Financial Officer to help lead the company through the next stage of its growth and prepare for a successful exit in the next 18–24 months.

With current revenues of £120m, a healthy 30% recurring revenue base, and a presence across EMEA and the Americas, the business has made strong progress since PE investment in 2023—completing five bolt-on acquisitions and planning a further two to three in the near term. The CFO will play a key role in delivering the integration, performance, and strategic positioning needed to support this next phase and eventual exit.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of financial strategy, reporting, forecasting, and controls
  • Oversee M&A activity, including financial due diligence, integration, and performance tracking
  • Develop and refine financial KPIs and internal reporting to support decision-making across the business
  • Continue building and developing a high-performing finance function (currently a team of 12)
  • Support international operations and help streamline finance processes across regions

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Prior CFO or senior finance leadership experience within a PE-backed or exit-focused environment
  • A strong understanding of recurring revenue models and services businesses
  • A track record of supporting M&A transactions and integration
  • Experience operating across multiple geographies, ideally including EMEA and the Americas
  • The ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level in a fast-paced environment

This is a hands-on role with significant exposure to the Board and investors, offering a clear path to value creation and equity realisation.
