Job Description:

Overview: The Maintenance Planner (Level 3) role involves creating and maintaining electronic work packages for maintenance, repair, or modification tasks using the Gold ESP MRO tool, in line with PT145 and Boeing policies. The role supports Boeing UK's delivery of maintenance and modification for the UK E7 Wedgetail Mk1 AEW&C Aircraft at RAF Lossiemouth during its Flight Test Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Author technical work instructions adhering to approved processes and regulations, including editing and verifying technical information.
  • Interpret various engineering data formats from OEMs, design organizations, or customers to produce standardized maintenance plans.
  • Create, receive, and deliver complex electronic manufacturing plans and work packages.
  • Manage configuration control of plan sets, including baseline lists, work instructions, aircraft-specific plans, and NCR work orders.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with scheduled aircraft/component maintenance, repair, and modification, with proper authorization on the relevant aircraft or components.
  • Ability to produce detailed work instructions using technical writing skills.
  • Proficiency with Engineering Resource Planning tools like Gold ESP MRO.
  • Excellent communication skills to understand and convey technical requirements.
  • Knowledge of MAA Regulatory Articles, Part 145, QA, and SMS processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings to support teams and produce work orders.
  • Effective communication across management levels and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing workloads to meet deadlines and standards.
  • Knowledge of scheduled maintenance review processes for air systems.
  • Willingness to work shift patterns if needed.
