Mobile Remedial Electrician (Commercial / Industrial Property Maintenance)
Salary: GBP40k Basic + Overtime and Shift Allowance + Fully Expensed Company Van + Benefits
Location: Newcastle (Regional coverage within 50 miles radius)
Hours: Various (premium rates paid for unsocial working hours)
Our client is one of the largest companies in the UK, providing specialist electrical testing services to occupied premises. Their work includes schools, hospitals, office blocks, retail units, and industrial units, ensuring all fixed wiring, switchgear, and control equipment meet regulations and are safe to use.
Following inspections by their Test & Inspection Engineers, Electricians are responsible for completing necessary upgrades and repairs. The role offers variety, from replacing breakers to upgrading switches in large industrial units. Flexibility and quick thinking are essential.
The field electrician team are vital, representing the company professionally and effectively.
This is a permanent position with a fully expensed company van, excellent benefits, and a competitive salary. Plenty of work and overtime are available for those interested.
Role: Support the Maintenance and Repairs team covering Newcastle and surrounding areas. Work is planned in advance and coordinated via the Operations Planning team based in West Yorkshire. You will work closely with a dedicated works coordinator, maintaining communication with customers and suppliers.
