Teaching is at the heart of the Marketing Summer School programme at Oxford Royale. We are seeking a teacher who is experienced in curriculum development and also passionate about delivering engaging lessons that introduce students to key areas of Marketing strategies. The ideal teacher will inspire students by integrating real-world case studies, facilitating group projects and fostering an inquisitive mindset. Lessons should challenge students to think critically, actively participate, and apply theoretical concepts to practical scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop course content, learning outcomes, and topic outline.
  • Creation and delivery of in-depth programme timetable, assignments, project briefs and marking schemes.
  • Deliver dynamic and interactive lessons that engage students in exploring marketing fundamentals and advanced topics.
  • Use subject expertise to ensure student progress, providing tailored feedback and adapting tasks as necessary.
  • Lead workshops, simulations, and case study analyses to connect theory with real-world challenges.
  • Mark assignments, offer detailed feedback, and complete student reports reflecting individual progress.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining registers and attending staff meetings.
  • Collaborate with fellow teaching staff to maintain a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide detailed written and verbal feedback in a post-summer academic meeting.

Person Specification:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in marketing, with experience of curriculum creation.
  • Passion for inspiring students and developing their understanding of marketing.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and adapt teaching styles to suit various learning needs.
  • Creative and confident teaching approach, encouraging hands-on problem-solving and innovation.
  • Fluency in English and strong organisational skills.

Position Details:

  • Programmes are two weeks in length, with options for 2, or 4-week contracts available between July and mid-August 2025.
  • Teaching takes place Monday to Friday, with lessons scheduled from 09:00 to 16:00, although shorter hours may be available in some locations.
  • Compulsory online and in-person training will be required before starting the role.

Essential Qualifications Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree (or higher) in Marketing, or a closely related field.
  • Curriculum content creation in Marketing or a closely related field.

Desirable Qualifications / Experience:

  • Experience teaching Marketing or related subjects to students aged 16-18.
  • PGCE or Master’s degree in Marketing.
  • Professional experience in Marketing, or a related field.
