Location: UK Wide - with a requirement for 2-3 days per week in office (Wales) and travel to clients and London office.

Salary: Up to GBP75,000 per annum plus competitive bonus and benefits

SYNLAB UK & Ireland offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and driven National Sales Manager to lead our commercial strategy and expand our market presence in the field of toxicology and pathology. This role involves leading the integration of our workplace and legal solutions, driving revenue, and building lasting client partnerships.

Your Impact
  1. Lead the Charge: Develop and execute a national sales vision, unifying sales and account management teams to meet targets.
  2. Unlock Opportunities: Manage pipelines effectively, convert key opportunities, and expand into targeted markets.
  3. Strategic Partner: Collaborate with the Managing Director to influence strategic decisions that increase revenue and customer retention.
  4. Drive Collaboration: Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing to maximize cross-selling across services.
Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Leadership & Team Development: Define and implement sales strategies, build and empower teams, and foster a results-driven culture.
  2. Key Client Engagement & Growth: Build relationships with key accounts, lead negotiations, and implement strategies for client retention and growth.
  3. Operational Excellence & Performance Management: Streamline processes, ensure accurate forecasting, and utilize Salesforce effectively.
  4. Market Insight & Contribution: Provide market feedback, contribute to strategy improvements, and report on trends to senior leadership.
About You
Essential
  • Experience leading national sales teams, preferably in toxicology, pathology, or diagnostics.
  • Proven success in meeting/exceeding sales targets and profitability.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Commercial acumen, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel nationally and work in Wales 2-3 days weekly.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and integrating sales with customer service.
Desirable
  • Experience using Salesforce.
