Job description

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Business Studies Teacher to join their school. The successful candidate will inspire students with a strong understanding of business principles, entrepreneurship, and economics while preparing them for academic success and future careers in business. Tuesdays only, starting September 2025.

Duties as a Business Studies Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Teach key business concepts, including marketing, finance, management, and entrepreneurship.
• Use real-world case studies to enhance students' understanding of business environments.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving in business-related scenarios.
• Support students with exam preparation and coursework.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and business-related projects.
• Supporting the existing Teacher with 4 students in the class.

Ideal Business Studies Teacher:

• A degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, Diploma in Education) preferred.
• Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary level.
• Strong knowledge of business concepts, current industry trends, and economic principles.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills as a Business Studies Teacher.
• Passion for teaching and developing students’ interest in business.
