About The Role

The Administrator/Crisis Worker plays a vital role in supporting victims of sexual assault by providing dedicated care and advocacy. You will empower patients to feel in control and support them through forensic examinations where applicable.

Each county has a dedicated Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC), aimed at improving medical response and aftercare for victims of sexual assault and rape. Mountain Healthcare supplies similar services to 20 SARCs across the UK.

This is a dual role combining administrative and crisis support responsibilities.

Location: Hazlehurst Centre CSAAS SARC, West Yorkshire
Additional Location: North Yorkshire CSAAS SARC

Type: Full-Time, 32 hours/week
Salary: £12.75/hour for administration tasks

Shift Hours: 32 hours across four days, 9:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday to Saturday

Job Responsibilities
  • Providing telephone information and support to victims
  • Assisting in administrative tasks and managing visits, including preparing patients and collecting forensic evidence
  • Supporting medical procedures, advocating for patients and families, and ensuring patient-centered care
  • Maintaining high standards of DNA decontamination between forensic cases
  • Liaising with other agencies regarding case management, including historic cases

Please note: Successful candidates will undergo pre-employment checks, including an Enhanced DBS, references, and police vetting NVVP Level 2 checks.

Travel may be required, so a UK driving license is essential.
