Job description: We have an opportunity for a Systems Designer to join the Team at the new Silverstone Facility. In this role, you will be designing parts and assemblies for one or more of our car systems. We aspire to be the absolute best in every aspect of our team. Team members are encouraged to challenge established thinking and share their ideas to create an environment where everyone can contribute to our shared success.

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Prepare schemes, layouts, and detail drawings of car system parts.
  2. Take ownership of your parts and ensure they meet requirements.
  3. Technical liaison with the suppliers and users of your parts.
  4. Stay current with developments within your area of responsibility.
  5. Support sustainable manufacture without sacrificing car performance.

Requirements

  1. A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering) or similar.
  2. Knowledge of the principles and physics of race car systems.
  3. Experience in the design of at least one of cooling systems, fuel systems, or hydraulic systems, ideally in the motorsport industry.
  4. Clear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email.
  5. Self-motivated, innovative, and comfortable working independently while meeting challenging deadlines.
  6. Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  7. Positively contribute to an open and inclusive culture.
