As the Science KS5 coordinator, your role will be pivotal in leading the Science department, shaping the curriculum, and ensuring exceptional Science education is delivered.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and coordinate the Science department, overseeing the development and implementation of the KS5 curriculum.
2. Provide guidance and support to Science teachers on effective teaching strategies.
3. Ensure the delivery of high-quality Science education to KS5 students.
4. Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing feedback and support as necessary.
5. Collaborate with other coordinators to promote cross-curricular integration.
6. Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for Science students.

Qualifications

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Science Education.
2. Proven experience teaching Science at KS5 level.
3. Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of educators.
