Job Description

The service specializes in providing accommodation and specialist support for homeless men and women in need. Some residents may have been victims of modern-day slavery or trafficking, and others may be undergoing TB treatment after hospital discharge, requiring support to re-establish themselves in the community.

The role involves providing support and guidance to service users to empower them to make positive choices, such as finding employment or alternative accommodation. Responsibilities include liaising with and accompanying individuals to meetings with external agencies and medical professionals. Additionally, the role involves day-to-day operational tasks such as supporting in the kitchen, reception duties, and assisting the service manager in health and safety compliance.

Minimum Requirements
  1. Experience working with people with diverse needs
  2. Ability to encourage, support, and demonstrate empathy
  3. Friendly, caring, and trustworthy demeanor
  4. Ability to support individuals to stay safe
  5. Support and assist individuals in making positive choices
  6. Ability to speak an Eastern European language as specified
