Job description

Job Title: Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled mechanic / vehicle technician to join our friendly team and assist with the development of our branch.

Mechanics are the backbone of our business and are required to diagnose, repair, and service our customers’ vehicles. We are looking for great vehicle technicians to contribute to our success by carrying out servicing or repairs promptly to get vehicles back on the road quickly. If you are fully qualified (or time served) and hold a current driving licence (for vehicle road testing), we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

1. Repair and service motor vehicles of all types according to company standards in a safe and efficient manner.
2. Test and diagnose faults, providing written reports on component defects or systems with impending failure.
3. Carry out repairs and servicing to the highest standard and appropriate specifications.
4. Work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
5. Observe safe working practices at all times.
6. Promote and maintain the company image, acting as a brand ambassador.

Requirements:

• Appropriate hands-on experience and qualifications in the motor industry.
• Current driving licence preferred.
• Own tools required; basic toolkit loans available.
