Job description

Four is seeking a dynamic IT Services Technician to join our team. As one of the first points of contact for staff and clients needing IT support, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

You will work closely with both the IT and office teams, assisting with all incoming requests and escalating issues when necessary.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels. They report to the IT Network and Infrastructure Manager, part of the IT management team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the initial point of contact for IT support requests from staff and clients.
  2. Collaborate with IT and office teams to address and resolve technical issues.
  3. Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams or managers.
  4. Maintain and manage IT inventory and stock.

Required Skills:

  1. Proficiency in Windows Desktop OS and basic Mac OS knowledge.
  2. Knowledge of audio-visual systems.
  3. Familiarity with office applications.
  4. Experience in stock and inventory management.
  5. Methodical approach to problem-solving.
  6. Basic networking knowledge.
  7. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite.
  8. Basic knowledge of Windows Server OS.
  9. Experience with Dell hardware.
  10. Understanding of cybersecurity tools.

  1. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  2. Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
  3. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  4. Confidence in handling highly technical and complex problems.
