What You'll Do:

• Lead a team of software engineers in developing new products or features, maintaining existing codebases, and troubleshooting issues.
• Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met while adhering to quality standards.
• Collaborate with departments such as product management, marketing, and customer service to ensure successful product launches.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency within the engineering team by leveraging automation tools or introducing new processes/methodologies.
• Monitor performance metrics related to engineering projects (e.g., bug count) and take corrective actions when necessary.
• Mentor junior engineers on coding standards, debugging techniques, and provide regular feedback on their work performance.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends in software engineering technologies, tools, and processes; identify opportunities for improvement.

What You'll Bring:

• Technical management experience in leading software engineering teams, with knowledge of DevOps and agile methodologies, and a fail-fast culture.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in enterprise environments using modern programming languages like Python, Java, and database querying languages.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate across teams and provide visibility to senior leaders.
• Expertise in engineering practices and patterns throughout the software/hardware/network development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and operations.
• Essential experience with Dual Band routers, Video Platforms, or Streaming Devices capabilities.
• Experience designing or architecting distributed systems for reliability and scalability.
• Proven ability to deliver products on plan in fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, and often ambiguous environments.
• Passion for learning, thinking big, and executing strategically and tactically with a startup mindset.
