About your new company:

Our client is an independent regulatory body in the United Kingdom responsible for ensuring the financial markets work well for consumers and the economy, promoting market integrity and effective competition.

Your new role:

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for working on the client’s Java and Angular cloud-based platform to implement new features and requirements. You will collaborate with product owners and architects, establish engineering standards, and conduct code reviews. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members to enhance team capabilities and oversee the technical delivery of digital products.

What's in it for you?

• A 6-month contract
• You will work 5 days across 35 hours per week.
• Hybrid working policy (40% office-based per week)

What we’re looking for?

• Technical experience in one or more of the following: Java/Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, AWS
• Experience in managing and mentoring teams, combined with strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
• Graduate level (or equivalent) education in Computer Science or a related field
