Activity and Wellbeing Support

Could you be the next enthusiastic team-player to join us in our wonderful home? Your main role will be to plan and deliver meaningful, person-centered activity and occupation to all our residents. You will also guide, develop, and coach our staff in engagement and activity with residents, ensuring that every day is filled with meaningful moments. We believe it is everyone’s role to help our residents live well and enjoy life. You will ensure residents’ dignity and self-esteem are enhanced through meaningful engagement, positive relationships, and the free expression of individuality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and delivering high-quality meaningful activities for all residents
  • Ensuring residents living with dementia have equal opportunities for engagement and activity
  • Stimulating excellent interaction and communication between staff and residents
  • Promoting and developing mealtimes as highlights of the day
  • Creating and maintaining strong community links

You will receive individual support, guidance, and development opportunities to ensure you have the confidence and skills to deliver high-quality activities and engagement.

Applicants should have a positive, forward-thinking approach, the ability to enthuse and guide others, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Care home experience is advantageous, as is previous experience in providing activities or leading teams. You should be assertive yet flexible.
