Proven experience as an Estimator in the painting and decorating industry.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office and construction software.

Prepare clear estimates including all necessary project information.
Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors.

Job role:

We are searching for a skilled Estimator who will be responsible for creating customised estimates, which includes material costs, labor costs and initial budget for each project. Responsibilities:

Prepares clear and concise estimates by including all necessary information like prints, RFIs and specs
Generates preliminary construction schedule
Establishes and maintains subcontractor and vendor relationship
Communicates with team and trade partners on new and upcoming projects
Analyzes data and produces forecasts
Reviews progress and prepares periodic reports for management
Performs risk analysis

Requirements:

Proven experience working as an Estimator or in a similar position within the PAINTING AND DECORATING INDUSTRY
General construction experience a plus
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Tech-savvy and proficient in MS Office and popular construction software like Timberline
Familiar with inspector guidelines and safety precautions
