Here at Hays Education, we have many partnerships with local schools across Bristol; one in particular being this Central Bristol school that we are currently recruiting for. This school is looking for an individual to join this BS6 school on a long-term, full-time basis. We are always looking for KS1 teachers to join us here at Hays, whether that be on a supply, short or long-term basis.

Your new role

This local Bristol school is looking for a KS1 Teacher to join their vibrant team as soon as possible. This role will involve planning and delivering lessons to your class, preparing activities and tasks, and answering any questions from students based on the lesson of the day. You will be responsible for this cohort of 30 students, with a Teaching Assistant present in the class. The TA is specifically assigned to a child with Autism, so you will need to cater lessons for this student while keeping the whole class engaged.

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE)
• Experience within the last 5 years
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
