Location: Fleet

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30

We are seeking a Senior Highways Design Engineer for a market-leading consultancy specializing in Transport Planning and Highways Design, due to continued growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company working on diverse projects across private and public sectors. Candidates should have experience in a similar role with a background in highway designs.

The successful candidate will join an existing team of 25 during an exciting growth phase, having recently secured a significant new project. Your responsibilities will include working on various project designs to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes that meet client and budget requirements.

The Senior Highways Design Engineer Role:

1. Ensure designs are delivered to specifications and within budget
2. Allocate resources and prioritize tasks
3. Prepare project budgets
4. Serve as a key contact for clients and partners throughout the project lifecycle
5. Mentor junior staff members

Candidate Requirements:

1. Experience working on Section 278 and Section 38 highway design projects or similar
2. Knowledge of highways and drainage systems
3. Proficiency in Civils 3D CAD software
4. Experience managing the development of contract documents
