Job description

Position: Registered Nurse Days or Nights

Location:

Betws-y-Coed, Conwy

Salary:

Starting from £22.00 per hour

Hours:

36 or 48 hours per week (on a rota basis)

Responsibilities:
  1. Work under the guidance of an experienced manager
  2. Deliver high standards of care to elderly service users with various nursing needs
  3. Create and work with person-centred-care plans
  4. Maintain thorough service user records
  5. Administer medication
  6. Monitor and assess the needs of service users
  7. Lead a team of carers
  8. Liaise with outside professionals
Requirements:
  1. Be nurse qualified (RGN or RMN preferred)
  2. Strong clinical skills
  3. Clean DBS and good references
  4. Awareness of core care standards in a nursing home
  5. Experience in a nursing home setting preferred
  6. High standards and a resident-focused attitude
  7. Professional attitude and reliability
  8. Experience caring for people with dementia
