Are you a Geo-Environmental Consultant looking for a new opportunity? Are you eager to join a talented consultancy with a strong presence in the North East? An exciting new opportunity for a Geo Environmental Engineer has opened in Durham. My client is a Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Specialist with over 20 years of consultancy experience.

We are looking to hire a Geo Environmental Consultant to assist with upcoming projects. If you enjoy roles that offer variety, this position is ideal. You will be involved in both office and site tasks, covering a range of responsibilities.

My client supports a diverse and inclusive workforce, promoting leadership at all levels. As the Geo Environmental Consultant, you will help train others, receive training for personal development, and be supported towards chartership. Your main responsibilities will include:

1. Desk studies
2. Phase 1 and 2 report writing (factual and interpretive)
3. Soil sampling
4. Borehole logging
5. Risk assessments
6. Site walkovers
7. Producing remediation strategies

Essential Criteria:

• Hold a relevant degree
• Live within a commutable distance from the Durham office
• Have good leadership skills
• Be able to write interpretative reports
