Our client is on the lookout for an Information Security Manager to lead their security team and manage controls to ensure the safety of data, people, and clients. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from £60,000 to £65,000 and is based in Birmingham. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid style across the UK, with flexibility to be based in any of the client's UK offices.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and manage the Information Security Analyst
• Maintain knowledge of current and emerging cyber threats and risk mitigations
• Manage and maintain Information Security risk register, policies, training, and related communications
• Conduct regular service reviews with key Information Security providers
• Lead cyber incident response activities including coordinating incident investigation, containment, and remediation actions
• Manage all penetration testing for new and present solutions as required

What you bring:

• Excellent knowledge of Information Security systems and solutions
• Significant experience of cyber security frameworks such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, NIST, CIS and OWASP Top10
• Ability to articulate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience of leading security-based projects
• Good understanding of attack vectors, defensive and detection cyber technologies
• Proven people management and leadership skills
