Metal Fabricator (Progression To Project Engineer)

Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 + 29 Days Holiday + Private Medical + Progression to Project Manager

Location: Inverurie

Are you a Metal Fabricator looking for the opportunity to advance your career from hands-on fabrication to project management? This role offers responsibility and autonomy to lead projects from start to finish.

Our company has experienced rapid growth over the past decade, operating across Marine, Renewables, Oil & Gas, and FMCG sectors. Specialising in welding, fabrication, and design, we are gaining recognition as a leading innovator in our field, especially with recent new contracts.

In this role, you will manage projects from quotation through to completion, liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring projects stay within budget and schedule. The position offers a Monday-Friday workweek with flexible hours between 07:00 and 18:00.

This opportunity is ideal for a Metal Fabricator eager to move off the tools and develop into a project engineer, with autonomy and responsibility for managing projects from cradle to grave.

The Role:

1. Managing projects from quotation to completion
2. Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency with suppliers
3. Maintaining schedules, budgets, and timelines
4. Collaborating closely with the Project Manager on fabrication projects in the O&G, Marine, Renewables, or FMCG industries
