The role:

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, fostering a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support continuous coaching and development, driving restaurant performance and delivering exceptional results.

What you will do:

  • Create a positive environment where your team feels cared for and listened to, celebrating successes and nurturing talent.
  • Ensure an excellent guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety.
  • Manage kitchen standards, including food safety, health and safety, and financial performance such as gross profit, stock control, and labour costs.
  • Build a coaching culture within your team, working with your Head Chef on recruitment and development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef.
  • Strong communication skills with a caring and considerate approach.
  • Experience in maintaining high standards of food safety and health and safety.
  • Understanding of financial metrics like gross profit and stock control.
