Job description

Our client is a leading asset management house with a global presence. Due to an exciting period of change and transformation, they are now looking to recruit a Senior Marketing Specialist to join their high-performing Marketing team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.

The Senior Marketing Specialist will assume the following responsibilities:

• Managing relationships with key stakeholders – both internal (channel teams, sales, design, digital, investment writing, presentation team, PR and investments) and external (key agency and media partners)
• Support the development of the marketing strategy and own the delivery into the UK intermediary channel – ensuring it is client focussed and complements the relevant sales strategy
• Content/ thought leadership and promotion
  • Lead on the receipt and delivery of Responsible Investing content pieces each month
  • Proofing all media, web and social assets prior to promotion
  • Help deliver and closely monitor performance of paid media
• Web
  • Updating and proofing web content
  • Support with updating copy and any key elements across UK Intermediary web pages
  • Work closely with channel lead and Digital reporting to monitor engagement and success metrics
• Webinars & Events
  • Own product webinars (logistics and management with sales, investments and BrightTalk)
  • Ownership of key events – implementation of third-party events (i.e. Citywire, Incisive Media)
• Email
  • Manage the production of regular emails/ client comms
  • Draft email copy and messaging, build and send via Pardot
• Other
  • Ensure marketing materials are updated and delivered in compliant manner
  • Writing and proof-reading copy
  • Communicate and share progress with key stakeholders
  • Constantly challenge yourself and others to improve on existing activities, approach, and accepted standards
  • Ensure that all regulatory requirements and internal guidelines are adhered to
  • Lead on ad hoc projects as required
  • Work in and provide briefings through our workflow/management tool, Workfront
  • Support the transition to a new brand

The Senior Marketing Specialist will meet the following criteria:

• Knowledge of responsible investing
• Marketing qualification with significant experience in a client focussed and commercially led marketing role
• Experience within channel marketing
• Naturally creative, idea generating and prepared to challenge the norm
• Proven experience within the investment management industry is essential
• Good knowledge of marketing including experience of the full media mix, promotions and communications (relevant to channel)
• Experience of managing external 3 rd party relationships and internal stakeholders / partners
• Proven project management skills with a track record of delivery to time and within budget
