Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Security Supervisor to join Kingdom Services Group Ltd working at a brewery distribution site in Northampton, NN4 area.

Main Duties: Manage the gatehouse and control access and egress of all vehicles and pedestrians to the site, ensuring all documentation, policies, and procedures are followed.

Hours: On average 60 hours per week, shifts as per site rota. Monday to Friday 06:00am - 18:00pm.

Pay rate: £13.00 per hour, increasing to £13.21 after probation.

Responsibilities:

  • Introduce yourself at the start of a shift. Have a positive attitude, accept instructions, and engage professionally with colleagues and visitors.
  • Maintain a professional appearance with appropriate uniform, ID, and SIA license.
  • Asset protection, including stock, property, and personnel.
  • Conduct visual patrols, be observant, vigilant, and proactive in identifying areas of concern.
  • Ensure safety and security, react swiftly to alarms, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Follow assignment instructions, manage access control, CCTV monitoring, and site checks.
  • Maintain logs, handle arrests and searches per policies, and perform administrative duties.

Person Specification:

  • Valid SIA license.
  • Full five-year checkable employment history.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good judgment and professionalism.
