What You'll Do

As a Practice Area Manager within BCG's People and Organization Practice Area (PA), you will lead strategic and operational initiatives to deliver the POP agenda. Your focus will include defining and executing our people and engagement strategy, driving global insights, managing the POP PA M&O agenda, and leading other strategic priorities.

Responsibilities include working with the Global People Lead and GPMD on people initiatives, managing engagement activities, learning and development programs, global meetings, strategic communications, and global people processes. You will also ensure that POP leaders have a strong understanding of business insights, drive the PA M&O agenda, and lead emerging strategic initiatives that can improve practice operations.

  • Creativity in engaging the POP team and promoting the practice
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and ability to work autonomously in a multinational environment
  • Respect and influence among senior leaders, including Managing Directors
  • Proven ability to influence, build consensus, and manage change
  • Experience in complex project management and strategic analysis
  • Ability to develop and support people initiatives and manage networks
  • Strong communication skills, including organizing events and developing internal communications
  • Independence in identifying needs, scoping, and implementing impactful initiatives
  • Leadership skills in mentoring, coaching, and motivating teams
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of consulting or 8-10+ years of industry experience
  • Advanced university degree preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and lead complex projects and teams independently
  • Business acumen and problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal credibility and influence
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Experience within BCG is a plus
Who You'll Work With

You will collaborate with global and regional PA leadership, including topic leaders, practice coordinators, HR, and marketing teams, as well as other regional managers and functions within BCG.
