Pay rate: £12.00 per hour (plus weekend and NVQ enhancements available)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join our passionate, friendly catering team to create delicious meals, snacks, and drinks for our residents. You’ll get to know our residents, understand their preferences, making mealtimes a highlight of their day.

Joining us means becoming part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside team members dedicated to providing care, warmth, and kindness in our homes.

Located in Old Sarum, just north of Salisbury, Avon Court and Bourne House form Avonbourne Care Centre, offering an elegant environment with compassionate, personalized care in welcoming, homely settings.

No prior formal catering experience is required; training will be provided. However, a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is helpful. We seek someone passionate about cooking, maintaining high kitchen hygiene standards, with a positive attitude, good communication skills, and a commitment to excellent resident service.

You should be confident engaging with elderly residents to understand their needs and enjoy teamwork within the home.
