Job Summary Delivery Coach
- Role: Delivery Coach
- Location: Quedgeley, Gloucestershire (Hybrid; 3 days in office/week)
- Duration: 3 months + possible extension
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Agile Activation Process by reviewing Team Charters and conducting Scrum 101, Kanban 101, and Waterfall trainings.
- Collaborate with the CDeX Tools team to set up ServiceNow PPM, Jira Scrum/Kanban boards, and maintain documentation in Confluence.
- Work with Business and Delivery Leaders to address challenges in adopting delivery processes.
- Hold weekly coaching sessions, provide feedback, and conduct ad hoc training for Project Managers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Kanban Facilitators.
- Guide Business Solution Managers and Program/Project Managers during project readiness discussions, ensuring alignment at key project lifecycle checkpoints (e.g., Plan, Kickoff, Closure).
- Attend Project Management Center of Excellence (PM CoE) and Scrum/Kanban Communities of Practice meetings.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in software process coaching across multiple teams.
- Experience in coaching and developing a learning mindset within teams.
- Proven background in training teams on Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Strong influencing abilities without using command and control techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- PMP, Scrum, and Kanban certifications preferred.
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
