Accounts Assistant
Job description
Working with a leading NI Business, you will be working alongside the existing accounts team and focusing on Accounts Payable.
Duties:
- Manage Accounts Payable: process invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
- Analyse and prepare employee expenses.
- Prepare and post month-end journals (accruals, prepayments).
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns.
- Assist with monthly management accounts.
- Perform stock reconciliations and reporting.
Criteria:
- Be part-qualified or qualified (IATI, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, etc.).
- Experience in a similar position.
- Excellent IT skills, including accounts packages.
- Organisational skills.
