Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Quality Manager to support Clarksons Port Services and the Gibb Group. The role will be based in Great Yarmouth or Aberdeen. The person in this role will be responsible for leading Quality practices, the Quality & Safety Management System (Mango), ISO accreditation (BS 9001, 18001, and 4001), and procedures to ensure the delivery of Quality excellence and compliance aligned with our Vision, Mission, and 2030 strategic targets.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Maintain the CPS / Gibb Integrated Quality & Safety Management System.
  2. Provide and deliver Quality standards according to the Company’s guidelines.
  3. Develop standard operating procedures and training practices related to Quality.
  4. Support Quality compliance, including communication with the Competent Authority and supporting visits.
  5. Engage with CPS / Gibb segments and represent them in Quality forums.
  6. Monitor, analyze, and report key performance indicators; report monthly to HQ.
  7. Review and update risk profiles and legislation; support the implementation of risk control measures.
  8. Monitor and ensure training compliance and manage training requirements.
  9. Develop audit strategies to ensure ISO Standard compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment standards.
  10. Support business development, tender approvals, and due diligence by providing Quality expertise.
  11. Offer Quality knowledge and influence for internal projects.
  12. Ensure incident investigations are competent, completed, audited, and supported as needed.
  13. Develop KPIs and report on these from a Quality perspective.
  14. Perform any additional or ad hoc duties necessary to meet business needs.

  • Ability to build relationships at all levels;
  • A full driving license;
  • Willingness to travel widely within the UK and Holland, with occasional trips to Rhode Island / Taiwan.
