Branch Manager/Account Executive

An excellent opportunity for a Branch Manager/Lead Account Executive has arisen within a well-established Insurance Brokerage in the Clevedon area.

Key Purpose of the Job
Achieve the required new business and renewal results and contribute towards team/individual targets, whilst offering a bespoke high level service, adhering to company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver against agreed targets and plans.
2. Drive sales and service excellence.
3. Review, identify and respond quickly to issues relating to delivery of objectives.
4. Creating a customer-led culture where sales and customer standards, discipline, activities and best practice are delivered.
5. Ensure you are meeting regulatory requirements.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience

1. UK based retail intermediaries operating in the personal, SME and middle markets, including schemes and affinity.
2. Managing General Agents/Underwriters providing specialist propositions across all distribution.

The preferred job holder will match the following requirements:

1. Relevant industry experience is preferable.
2. A wide knowledge of commerce and industry and familiarity with as well as ability to study the market and forecast economic trends.
3. Ability to develop and maintain business contacts and goodwill.
4. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to prepare and present reports.
6. Pro-active and self-motivated.
