Job Title: Mobile Service Technician

Location: Sussex

Pay Range/Details: £28,000 to £37,000

Contract Type: Permanent

We are partnering with a leading company in the equipment services industry to offer an exciting opportunity for a skilled Mobile Service Technician to join their team. This role involves providing exceptional repair and service solutions to customers as part of the technical support team.

Key Responsibilities - Mobile Service Technician

1. Carry out servicing and repairs on Toro and other manufacturers' equipment as required by customers.
2. Diagnose repair faults effectively (mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic).
3. Represent the company and product brands professionally when dealing with customers.
4. Maintain high levels of customer service for all support queries and requests.
5. Keep accurate records of service/repair work, customer visits, and working time.
6. Take ownership of customer problems and respond promptly to issues.
7. Ensure safe working practices both in the workshop and at customer locations.
8. Escalate complex issues to the Service Manager with detailed job sheets.
9. Relay customer parts requirements efficiently to the parts team or Service Manager.
10. Maintain a professional appearance and clean vehicle condition.
11. Attend product and technical training events as required.

Qualifications & Requirements - Mobile Service Technician

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
• Relevant technical experience or qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent vocational training).
