Job description

Location: London – Hybrid role with weekly travel to client offices. We are only considering candidates based in London who have the right to work in the UK.

About the Team

The Creative Production Team is a community which delivers all of our clients' creative production requirements to the highest of standards, formed by a multicultural team of creative production experts which delivers marketing assets across Europe (EMEA).

Purpose of the role

  • Vision: The Creative Artworker oversees and produces the deliverables of Creative Production projects, to ensure the highest satisfaction of Indicia Worldwide’s clients.
  • Mission: To deliver the Creative Production proposition of Indicia Worldwide through clients, delivering both the best quality and price for our clients' needs.
  • Approach: To establish excellence in production delivery through our values - Collaboration, Entrepreneurship, Pioneering and Accountability.

The Creative Artworker will be responsible for maintaining brand guardianship, design application, production of marketing campaigns and retailer communications for a major global brand, from straightforward design to artwork origination and amendments, plus adaptation and versioning of existing signed-off designs.

Therefore, the Creative Artworker will manage a range of production projects, which includes the following tasks:

  • To oversee, create, prepare and edit print-ready artwork across a range of media including general print collateral (brochures, flyers, etc.), press ads, POS and all types of advertising displays, digital and social media assets, and much more.
  • To ensure the integrity of the original concept and brief.
  • To understand and work within brand and corporate guidelines.
  • To produce retouching of images and photography to a good level.
  • To understand and apply color management principles in daily tasks.
  • To use your experience and knowledge to identify and resolve design, artwork and production challenges.
  • To complete all personal administration, including timesheets, accurately and promptly.
  • To understand the company’s quality control process and systems, employing a methodical approach.
  • To provide the business with best value by estimating and managing time accurately, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality.

Skills, knowledge, experience and exposure

  • Considerable experience as a design and production focused artworker.
  • Extensive experience in loyally and accurately applying a design concept across a range of different media and formats.
  • Agency, production agency experience preferred.
  • Experience in dealing directly with clients is required.
  • In-depth expertise of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • General automated artwork production and template-building experience.
  • Familiarity with both agency and wider marketing technology systems such as DAM, ad delivery platforms, approval/sign-off tools, and collaborative and production workflows.
  • Straightforward design, typographical and layout skills.
  • Pre-flight and proofing background.
  • High understanding of print materials, die-cuts and 3D renders.
  • Photoshop and image retouching skills.
  • Understanding of color management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Ability to build relationships and to communicate effectively.
  • Service-driven.
  • Excellent core Microsoft computer skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Native English level (any other European language is a plus).

Role Requirements

  • The Creative Artworker will be required to work onsite with the client several days a week, in conjunction with the PM and the other studio members. The number of days to work on-site is to be defined.
  • Whilst you have your contracted hours, Mon – Fri, the project-based nature of the role requires that some days you will have to work outside of these hours and you will recover that time at another moment.
