Job description

Our client is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team, focusing on projects in the Peterborough and East Midlands region. This is an exciting opportunity to provide commercial support across a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from £300k to £10m. Clients span a variety of sectors, including affordable housing, food, retail, education, commercial, industrial, and health.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking candidates with experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, whether at intermediate or senior level. You’ll take ownership of multiple projects, handling tasks such as:

  1. Subcontract procurement, payments, and measures
  2. Cost management and valuations
  3. Building estimates and variation costings
  4. Forecasting and cost value reporting

Familiarity with JCT / NEC forms of contracts is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  1. A full driving licence (as site travel is required)
  2. A proactive, commercially astute, and conscientious approach
