Our client is seeking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team, focusing on projects in the Peterborough and East Midlands region. This is an exciting opportunity to provide commercial support across a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from £300k to £10m. Clients span a variety of sectors, including affordable housing, food, retail, education, commercial, industrial, and health.
You’ll become part of a friendly, practical, and inspiring community. Team members come from diverse backgrounds, united by a shared passion for teamwork, solving challenges, and delivering exceptional results for our clients.
We’re seeking candidates with experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, whether at intermediate or senior level. You’ll take ownership of multiple projects, handling tasks such as:
- Subcontract procurement, payments, and measures
- Cost management and valuations
- Building estimates and variation costings
- Forecasting and cost value reporting
Familiarity with JCT / NEC forms of contracts is essential.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A full driving licence (as site travel is required)
- A proactive, commercially astute, and conscientious approach
- Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
- The ability to drive projects forward and ensure client satisfaction
