Job description

I currently have an exciting opportunity for a CAMHS night nurse to work in Oswaldtwistle, Accrington, in a beautiful location. The role involves working with both step-down and secure units.

Shifts are 12 hours long; Week 1 consists of 4 night shifts, and Week 2 consists of 3 night shifts on a rolling rota.

You will work closely with young people who use the services, their families, carers, and external professionals, contributing significantly to their experience of the service.

Your aims include:

  • Keeping service users safe through sound clinical skills and effective risk assessments.
  • Ensuring the best clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to evidence-based policies.
  • Providing a positive experience for service users by respecting, empowering, and collaborating with them during care planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure nursing standards meet the needs of young people using the service.
