An established organization in the community support sector is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker. Residential Support Worker who has excellent communication skills and empathetic ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with women returning to the community from prison is required to work in a Criminal Justice Approved Premises for a well-established organisation based in Bristol, South West England.
ALL LEVELS OF EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED
Ideally, you have worked in a residential setting or have experience working within the criminal justice sector / criminal justice approved premises. However, we appreciate that not everyone can tick every single box, just so long as you are confident and are comfortable working with a diverse range of people from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances, then this job could be for you.

SALARY: £25,462 - £28,805 per annum plus an additional unsocial hours allowance of £2,250 per annum + Benefits

WORKING HOURS: Shift pattern of 4 shifts on and 4 shifts off, rotating 2 x 08:00 - 20:00 and 2 x 20:00 - 08:00, 12 hours per shift
JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity in a Criminal Justice Approved Premises for a Residential Support Worker who has excellent communication skills and empathetic ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with women returning to the community from prison.
As the Residential Support Worker, you will join a designated Criminal Justice Approved Premises for up to 26 women, supported by a specially trained all-women workforce! You’ll provide support for women either returning to the community after serving time in prison or who have been given a residential requirement as part of a community sentence.
Working as the Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for delivering structured activities and skills sessions to supervision and maintenance of discipline; you will provide a safe and supportive environment to allow their residents to re-integrate smoothly back into the community.
