Main Responsibilities

• Supervise the Meetings and Events department in executing daily business.
• Assist with training and developing non-matchday and matchday staff.
• Maintain the standards of Meetings and Events.
• Ensure all areas of the Meetings and Events facility are clean and presentable.
• Ensure the preparation of all function areas, quality of service, and hygiene standards conform to company standards.
• Set up all Meetings and Events functions correctly, maintaining high standards.
• Complete preparatory work for all events in a timely manner.
• Be aware of specifics of each function, such as timings and food service details.
• Have thorough knowledge of dishes served and be able to provide information to customers.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential:

• Experience supervising in a large operation with high-volume meetings and events.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, capable of recruiting, training, managing, and motivating staff.
• Experience front of house, with various concepts and service styles.

Desirable:

• Experience in sports/stadia environments.
• IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent qualification.
• Food Safety Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
