Salary: £160 to £220

Are you an experienced Humanities Teacher that can teach to KS5? Are you looking for a long term Humanities Teacher position and available January 2024? If you answered “YES” then we can help you!

Academics are currently working with a secondary school in the Barnet area who require a Humanities teacher to start with them in January 2024. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, innovative and successful department teaching Humanities from KS3 to KS4. Offering another Humanities subject to KS5 would be desirable.

What skills and experience the school are looking for:

1. Must have QTS/QTLS
2. Can offer Humanities from KS3, KS4
3. Available to start January 2024
4. Passionate about teaching and learning with a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills
5. Strong and effective classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
6. Have a current DBS on the update service
7. Be able to plan and deliver a creative and stimulating curriculum with thorough knowledge of present curriculum development, particularly those relating to Humanities
8. Dedicated to ensure that all children achieve their very best
9. Support network from senior leaders and other teachers across the Trust to help deliver outstanding teaching and learning through resources, mentoring, and school visits.
