Your New Job Title: Mandarin speaking Financial Reporting Manager

The Skills You'll Need: Mandarin and English at fluent level, fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent, with strong statutory Accounting skills and group financial reports experience.

Job status: Permanent; hybrid working with 4 days in the office.

Report to: Finance Director.

To be successful in this role, our client has said it is essential that candidates:

  • are fluent in Mandarin;
  • are CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent fully qualified;
  • have strong statutory Accounting skills and group financial reports experience.

Financial Reporting Manager - What You'll be Doing:

  • Review the reports/analysis prepared by the team member;
  • Review total SAP FI posting, reminding correction as appropriate;
  • Review the ET month end close process, sign off the month reconciliation sheet;
  • Review the annual budget process;
  • Review and update accounting policy, provide accounting advice on new business assurance process;
  • Prepare weekly profit forecast to HQ;
  • Prepare monthly PCIL consolidated performance analysis to HQ;
  • Prepare monthly internal report to HQ;
  • Deal with various queries/reporting requirements from HQ;
  • Coordinate the internal/external audit process;
  • Coordinate the enhancement of the accounting and reporting system.

Financial Reporting Manager - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Fluent written and spoken Mandarin and English;
  • Degree in Finance/Banking/Commercial/Maritime Studies or equivalent is preferred;
  • ACCA, AAT, LCCI or CAT fully qualified;
  • Solid relevant experience, preferably in trading or finance industry;
  • Excellent team working and networking skills;
  • Possess good interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, positive and proactive;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Remark: Due to Month-End deadlines, the employee will be required to work extended hours during the first week of each month (will be able to take time off in lieu).
