Job summary

An established industry player in children's services is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join their team. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of UK experience in a children's social work team, where you will be directly involved in supporting children and families. You will prepare care plans, assess progress, and present reports during case conferences. Job Description

Support Worker, Bedfordshire Council, Childrens SEND Team - Must be a Support Worker with a minimum of 2 years+ UK Support Worker experience within a Children's Social Work team.

Our client is looking for a Support Worker with 2 years+ UK experience within a Children’s team.

The responsibilities will include:

  1. Direct work with children and families
  2. Prepare Care Plans and assist in the assessment of their progress
  3. Prepare & present reports for case conferences and reviews
  4. Liaise appropriately with colleagues and other professionals
  5. Home Visits
  6. 35 hours per week (flexible by negotiation)
  7. Immediate Start
  8. 3 Month Temporary Contract

The successful candidate will need to hold an NVQ3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent, have a current DBS and be a car driver.
