Theatre Practitioner

Haywards Heath Hospital | Nursing | Fixed-term contract | Full time | Includes weekend work
Up to £38,025.00 per annum depending on experience
37.5 hours per week

As a Theatre Practitioner at our hospital, you’ll be focused, detail-oriented, empathetic, with great communication skills. You’re registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment, you’re a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As a Theatre Practitioner, you will:

  1. Work in a multidisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
  2. Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and facilities.
  3. Supervise, support, and develop junior members of the team.
  4. Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  5. Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence-based.
  6. Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training.

Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital

Opened in 1993 and close to the centre of Haywards Heath, the Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital provides a wide range of medical services from minor procedures to major surgical specialties. With three operating theatres – including one laminar flow – comprehensive outpatient facilities including a 3T MRI scanner, an excellent onsite pre-assessment clinic, physiotherapy department, and 26 en-suite rooms on the ward.
