HGV C+E Class 1 Driver’s Required Day’s Trunking

Wright Staff are currently looking for experienced HGV C+E Class 1 drivers for a new contract.

The Opportunity: Wright Staff are proud to represent a large family-run distribution company located near Brierly Hill, Birmingham.

Our client is looking for HGV C+E Class 1 drivers to work alongside their own team.

The Job:
The perfect candidate will be expected to drive HGV C+E Class 1 vehicles delivering steel tube and sheet products. Most routes are trunking or trailer swaps with no handball; experience delivering steel would be beneficial due to load securing, etc. Shift lengths can be long but are in keeping with the law, and normal start times are typically between 05:00 & 07:00 am. Ongoing work is available, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend work.

Pay:
Days: £15 per hour PAYE only
Weekends / Bank Holidays: £17 per hour PAYE
** NO Limited company contractors **

You Will Require:

• UK HGV C+E Class 1 driving licence, held for 2 years for insurance purposes.
• Some steel experience preferred.
• Valid UK CPC card.
• Valid UK Digi Card.

Minimum Experience, Training or Qualifications Required:

• Drivers must have their category C+E Licence with no more than 3 points and no TT’s, IN’s, TS, DR, or DD codes showing.
• You must have a valid UK Digi Card and Full CPC.
• Must be physically fit and comfortable dealing with the public.
