Job description

Bristol

IMPACT is the name of MBDA's Group wide change programme to implement S/4 HANA, replacing a range of bespoke systems used today. This role will be responsible for determining and implementing harmonised end-to-end processes regarding asset accounting, cost controlling and time booking in SAP across MBDA Group.

Salary: Circa £65,000 depending on experience

Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2 days per week on-site due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

This role is part of the IMPACT core team and will require working with the international cost base teams, the overall System Integrator and our partners. It involves regular international travel to core team meetings (co-working in France) and workshops.

You will act as the Group end-to-end process specialist for asset accounting, cost controlling and time booking within the IMPACT project core team. You will work with other Finance end-to-end process specialists and subject matter experts to identify best practice solutions across the Group, securing data and process consistency according to the deployment roadmap. Working with and managing key stakeholders both inside and outside the business will be key to delivering a successful solution.

What we're looking for from you:

  • Experience in the relevant finance areas
  • Good understanding of finance processes and finance relevant master data
  • Must have experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4 HANA
  • Experience in working in an international and multifunctional environment
  • Fluent in English, additional MBDA languages (French, German, Italian) a plus
  • Excellent communication, influencing, persuasion and project management skills
  • Comfortable making decisions for change, where limited information may be available
