Role Overview

The Global Client Product Development (CPD) leader is responsible for guiding our client-focused product development teams worldwide. In collaboration with the commercial, PLM, and GPD teams, this role fosters the development of innovative processes and techniques for new products across various clients and lines.

Your Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with Commercial teams to identify product opportunities, drive strategic initiatives, and meet global sales targets.
2. Manage the end-to-end product development process, from client briefing through artwork creation, costing, sampling, and final approval.
3. Develop processes to guide clients towards optimal branding solutions by gathering detailed specifications and proposing re-engineering options to meet pricing targets.
4. Partner with GPD teams to establish global procedures and escalation protocols for efficient deployment of new items into production.
5. Implement robust pricing processes using established tools and guidelines.
6. Engage in store audits, client meetings, and sales narrative development as needed.
7. Stay informed about industry trends and product advancements to effectively assist clients with Avery Dennison solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 15 years of experience in commercial/product development, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing a global team, preferably within the apparel industry.
• Strong passion for product development and market trend awareness.
• Proven leadership of large, diverse teams in dynamic environments.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of functioning effectively in a collaborative, matrixed organization.
• Ability to drive organizational change and achieve results.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
