Location: Sheffield City Centre.
Salary: £25,228 p.a
Contract: 6 months, Full-time (Mon-Fri)

About the Role:
Verus Recruitment is seeking a meticulous and experienced Hair and Make-Up Prep Artist to join our client, a leading company in the 3D scanning industry. This is a unique opportunity to work in a cutting-edge environment, where your skills in hair and make-up will play a crucial role in preparing models and actors for high-quality 3D scans.

Role Overview:
As a Hair and Make-Up Prep Artist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all subjects are perfectly prepped for the 3D scanning process. This involves the complete removal of make-up, ensuring clear and even skin, and securing all hair types in nets to prevent interference with the scan. Your expertise in hair and make-up, along with your attention to detail, will be essential in meeting the precise standards required by the scanning process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly and safely remove all make-up to achieve a natural, clean look suitable for 3D scanning.
• Secure hair of all types in nets, ensuring that it is completely pulled back and does not interfere with the scanning process.
• Coordinate closely with the scanning team to ensure all prep steps align with the technical requirements of the scanning process.
• Provide a professional, calm, and supportive environment to help subjects feel comfortable during the prep process.
• Work with precision to meet the high standards required for accurate and detailed 3D scans.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hair and make-up, ideally within the entertainment, photography, or fashion industries.
• Expertise in make-up removal, skin care, and hair styling techniques for all hair types.
• A strong eye for detail and the ability to work to exacting standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and subjects.
