Job Description

  • Manage and monitor all costs related to building projects from the initial calculations to the final figures
  • Minimise the costs of a project while still achieving the required standards and quality
  • Prepare reports and documents to keep track of the project's progress
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure a project runs smoothly
  • Negotiate contracts and work schedules
  • Assess and manage risk
  • Handle contractual disputes
  • Perform cost control and cost forecasting

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • House building experience in RC frame construction
  • Profound knowledge of construction methodologies and procedures
  • Competence in relevant software applications
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the property industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team and independently
