Job description

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Daniel Owen is recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established company in Bracknell.

The role involves a 40-hour workweek, with flexibility required to participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota for emergency breakdown cover.

Duties:
  1. Operating and maintaining mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, fan coil units, heating, and air handling systems, ensuring efficiency and safety.
  2. Conducting inspections to assess performance and identify faults.
  3. Performing preventive and reactive maintenance and repairs, including troubleshooting malfunctions.
  4. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  5. Documenting maintenance activities and generating reports on performance, maintenance schedules, and energy usage.
Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
  • Time served as a Mechanical Engineer.
  • Qualification in Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, or a related field.
  • Experience in building services or facilities management.
